do you have a humidifier in your room? That would put some moisture in the air and ease breathing. In the winter the air gets very dry and people get stuffier.

also working to reduce the anxiety would help a lot. Sometimes anxiety alone can cause breathing issues. When you’re laying down to sleep you could turn on some soothing nature sounds or relaxing meditations for sleep all of these are found on YouTube. Hundreds to choose from. That would at least start to relax you. and take your mind off of things. I do hope you feel better soon

I am just getting over covid. I have asthma and I have anxiety and OCD . When I don't think about my breathing I am fine. As soon as my mind goes there my chest tightens up and I am short of breath. I am not completely better. I still have some cold symptoms. I find I am hypersensitive to every cough, sneeze, etc because of my anxiety. I try to stay busy but I am legitimately tired because of covid.

Positive on 12/02 and still have symptoms.

Mostly pressure, inflammation in throat sinus area - feels like i cannot gather a full breath.

The anxiety associated is just a cherry on top.

Are you still experiencing symptoms like this?

Symptoms werent terrible, but now im having Chest pain shortness of breath difficulty breathing. I was put on Prednisone, Albutorol, Zpack and Benzonotate 4-5 days ago. Yesterday i felt decent with breathing issues off and on. Im not sure if its the prednisone or panic attacks or both with the worse breathing difficulties. How long did yalls symptoms last? did you heal fully?

Yes. I am 16 month past my Covid diagnosis and am STILL having shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. This is especially bad when I lay back at night to sleep. Sometimes I wake up several times. I also have ongoing nerve issues and a chronic buzzing feeling made worse by laying down.

My initial diagnosis was 'missed' by the ER after I collapsed back in 1/21 so I was just let go from the hospital and almost died. I really haven't gotten much help and have been passed around from specialist to specialist. I believe had I gotten the appropriate treatment back then, I would be in a much better place now. I can only go from here. It is impossible not to have anxiety while going through this. The idea of taking an anti anxiety med makes me more anxious (lol).. I tried the Benzos and they actually speed my heart up and crank up the anxiety. The symptoms have changed over time and I am hoping they just leave soon.. I hope the medical community comes up with some actual treatments that help soon! Wishing you all the best. Rest and take care

Take the prescribed tablets continuously, and visit your doctor before the symptoms get worse.

If the doctor suggests, you can do some breathing exercises or yoga to improve your lung capacity.
