hello , i have been taking esomeprazole prescribed by gastro for a little inflamation of the stomach lining. i am bloated daily !!! no matter what i eat i am like a baloon and i get headeache almost daily ! is it normal ? who got headeache from esomeprazole? thanks !

Were you tested for h pylori?
PPIs can give you IBS symptoms, but also you have to realise they can stop you absorbing vitamins and minerals so you should take a multivitamin and mineral tablet every day when taking. I became deficient in Vitamin D and B12 on PPIs which affected my stomach and made me feel dizzy, it also made my nails weak and my hair fall out. When I started taking vitamin supplements and taking alverine (an antispasmodic) everything started improving. I have since found out that a kefir yoghurt drink every day works just as well as alverine for bloating and stomach issues. I now only take esomeprazole when I get bad symptoms so not every day any more.

thanks for reply - yes no h pylory , just some little inflamation of the stomach lining, not even gastritis!
