I'm 68 and have been taking omeprazole for about a year but I still have awful symptoms of gerd, I get no acid in my throat but I have a feeling of a lump in my throat and sometimes get a sore throat, cough, or have to clear my throat a lot even though nothing is really there

In the last few years I've had a gastroscopy twice which both showed mild gastritis

I saw an ENT specialist a year ago and had a camera put up my nose and down my throat and nothing was found to be wrong ,

I eat a healthy diet, I don't drink a lot of alcohol I don't smoke at all and yet I feel as if I have indigestion every morning when I wake up and it never goes away completely on most days

Has anyone else had this?
