Granuloma

Hi everyone, I had a lump on my forehead removed 4 weeks ago. The biopsy result came back with - inflammatory granuloma tissue and the lab report  mentioned sarcoidosis. My father had this for years before he died. I have a weird rash and lumps on front of lower legs. Lumps under skin in various places. So GP thinks everything I’ve got just now could be signs and symptoms of Sarcoidosis. Is the biopsy result a positive enough diagnosis to say it is sarcoidosis. GP wants me to have chest X-ray,  see a dermatologist and respiritory as well. GP also said to google it and research it as much as possible. I get the impression they already know especially telling me research it. What do you all think. Thanks in advance for helping xx

I had a lump removed near my eye that was determined to be a granuloma. For some reason they couldn't determine if it was sarcoidosis. I also had the rash on my legs. I made an appt with derm and got a biopsy that confirmed sarcoidosis. Maybe that would work for you too. Our cases sound a little similar.

Welcome to the forum. Do what your Dr. Advised you to do I was diagnosed pretty much the same way only had internal lumps, I live in Texas and opted to use ol RA drugs that were classified as chemo drugs but they have helped me I only take prednisone or other steroids when I’m having a flare or nothing else works, try to distress your life. God bless.
