Help with WG nose problems

Hello to you all

I thought I would post the following product information as I have found it of value:

On my last visit to the ENT Consultant we disscussed my problem with a blocked nose, a standard WG problem. My Consultant kindly gave me a \"NeilMed Sinus Rinse Kit\"

It is in fact a plastic bottle which ask as a pump to irrigate the sinus. You fill it with cool boiled water and add the special salt crystals, shake and use.

It is on sale at Boots and I have found it the best answer, so far, to the WG nose problem.

Cheers

Steve

    Hi Steve

I like use you was advised by my ENT consultant to use NeilMed Sinus Rinse and have been doing so for about a couple of years now. Personally I have found it more effective than some of the others on the market simply because of the larger volume that is delivered in each douche. It can be a bit uncomfortable to begin with until one masters the act of using it but I have found it to be worth persisting long tern benefit. But another tip I also got from ENT was to use a non-drowsy anti-histamine especially over the summer months - and although this is first summer I have tried it my sinus symptoms have certainly settled down.

    Take care folks.

Hi - this sounds just what I need, my nose bleeds with nasal sprays - ENT gave me Naseptin Cream to heal it in but in the meantime have ordered a trial kit of this from NeilMed - will let you know how I get on when it arrives (my local boots had sold out). Janet

    Hi Steve,

I've been using Nielmed sinus rinse for 2 years now and find it most helpful with the old sinuses.

The only drawback is the dreaded dribble from the sinuses if I've had my head lowered for any reason. it could be several hours sinse the rinse but if I havn't a tissue handy it can be very embarassing!!!!!

    Hi There

Yes I know what you mean about the after effects of using the NeilMed. Maybe the answers is to keep our heads up!!!!! as we must with WG. When you look at it this illness it has so many diffrent problems and effects we need to deal with.

What's the saying \"what doesn't kill you makes you stronger\"

    Cheers to all
