Husband came off bike and is in pain Dow one side.

My husband was cycling home this afternoon on his road bike. He says front wheel slipped on wet leaves and he went over handle bars. He landed on his side and bike landed on top of him. After a couple of minutes he was able to get up and finish riding home

There is no bruising but it hurts quiet s but down his left side and he also has pain in his groin left side but does not remember hitting that area or bike hitting it. Again no bruising or swelling etc.

He has taken some pain killers and gone to bed.

Could he have caused a serious injury, would there be bruising, redness or swelling if was serious.

Should he go to see GP or hospital in morning or do you think he just needs to rest.

Any advice would be much appreciated

It is advisable that your hubby get an xray. The pain in the groin is caused by and injury to the hip. or the lower lumber region...best wishes.....
