A CT scan can show PF, but to determine what it is exactly you need to see a Pulmonary Specialist. There are over 200 different forms of PF. PF is just a term to describe an observation from a preliminary exam. A pulmonary specialist will do test and a biopsy if needed to determine the type and treatment that may be required ,if any.
