    Mollieh1092,

Go to your appointment at the hospital and take someone with you who can help you with what they tell you.  This way there are 2 sets of ears. You should not jump to any conclusions ok?  Until you find out more guessing with such little information is not such a good thing.  When you have had your appointment come back to this site with your questions. We are all here to help!

    Hi mollieh1092:

I agree totally with rebbyreb99's response to you.  We would just be grasping at straws to comment further to you at this time.  Yes, do come back after your hospital visit and the results of any test they do.

Until then best wishes to you.

Hello I was recently told as well at the ER that I have scarring on my lungs. I'm only 30 years old and have 2 children, 1 being my daughter whom is only 6 and has a list of medical issues herself (7 neuro surgeries) I go see my primary on Monday, and to get a referral to a Pulmanary specialist. I'm VERY scared myself. Please keep us informed! I need someone to talk to myself, and I haven't stopped crying for days!

Hi jessfl86 and i'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis.  Please try to relax. The fact that the ER told you you have some scarring on your lungs could be anything.  Only when you have had a more definitive finding resulting from a C-Scan and other tests and have seen your Pulmonary Specialist, will you know what course of action will follow. We are all supportive in this Forum and all of us will be happy to talk with you.

Please get back to us and until then enjoy your children and think positive.

      Jessfl186,

I can certainly understand your being scared because of the fear unknown but please see about getting an appointment as soon as you can to see a Pulmonologist to get answers.  Once you have some answers as to what is going on then go from there.  My mother was told she had colon cancer by a doctor and we took her to a specialist at Mayo Clinic and it ended up being Diverticulitus.  A whole different ball game. First thing first....get that appointment.
