I think I have my veinsections to once a year.

It is possible that I have managed somehow to get down to once a year. But when the headaches do come, i want to die.

    I'm sorry I can't help you at all with finding a solution to your headache problem.

    Are you taking Hydroxycarbamide or something similar? Or do you only have venesections?

    I hope that somebody here can help you soon.

      Hi Natalie: I have PV and venesections for me became only necessary if my blood got too high. However, my Hematologist prescribed Hydroxyurea and sometimes has adjusted that meds up or down. It would be most unusual if I needed a venesection once I was on the meds.

      Maybe your Hematologist waited a year to prescribe something for you?
