However, there are various specialist companies around. Avanti is one that seems to be well regarded. You could give them a call and see if they could help you.

Hi I've just renewed my travel insurance and I've had no problems that was with Aviva

I have just been on holiday with a seven hour flight. I was worried about the journey but My haematologist just advised to wear pressure socks and drink, drink and drink more water. She said it didn’t matter if I was up and down to the loo all the time!!! (Which I was, but a small price to pay).

Thank you we will speak to our insurers after our appointment on Wednesday with Haemotologist as We will have to see if he approves of my husband travelling.I will let you know how it goes. It's all very New and very worrying at the moment just hoping the tests go well tomorrow.
