Lansoprazole And constipation

i started taking Lansoprazole a few month sago, a month on 60 mg a day for s month dropping to 2 months on 30mg and then in a weeks time will go onto 15mg maintenance.

I had a colonoscopy last week and and since then stating to suffer with constipation, something unusual for me.  I wonder if it’s Lansoprazole that’s causing it or something else.

its making life difficult as I suspect my rectum is starting to prolapse, I have symptoms but no diagnosis as yet but have had ongoing problems in this area,

Does this sound familiar to anyone?
