i have just been perscribe lansoprazole for gout,how

will this help?

    Hi there, I know this is an old thread but it's first one on Google. I thought I would post here to help others as I was also prescribed lansoprazole for gout today.

    Lansoprazole helps with stomach problems. Your doctor should have also prescribed a gout drug such as indometacin or naproxen. You take these when you get a flare up of gout and the lansoprazole if they make your stomach upset.
