Lower left side pain - not kidneys- help!

Hi

I had a kidney infection Nov 2016 - and was hospitalised for it. From then on I’ve had what I thought were recuring UTI’s.

I’d get all the symptoms without the burning feeling when you pee - but I’d get the lower back pain - nausea - etc and the dr would prescribe antibiotics and I’d feel better in a week. On a few occasions the pain has been so bad from the lower back I’ve passed out and vomited and had to go to a&e.

My dr referred me after the last visit to a&e to the urology dept Who did a CT scan but have said it’s not kidney or bladder related.

So now I’m clueless - the lower back pain is now consistent and all the time, i get waves of pain which radiates to the front and occasional sharp stabbing pains and sometimes a tingly feeling.

I’m tired all the time I can barley get through a day work - socialising is basically a no as I spend all weekend in pain just trying to recover from the week! I can’t concentrae from the pain and the tiresness.

I can go back to my GP for another referral but I don’t know what for? And then it’s another wait for the appointment and I’m just so tired or being tired and feeling so unwell all the time!

Any advice?

Thanks

I'm so sorry you are suffering so much.  I also feel close to giving up completely sometimes because of lower back pain that doesn' seem to have a cause.  I can hardly fiddle around in the kitchen to fix something to eat without ending up on the couch crying.  Pain pills hardly help me.  I hope you find an answer.  Share if you do!
