My father got covid positive. He had wet cough, but at 5th day he took 1 spoon of dry cough syrup.

so, He had wet cough, but took 1 or 2 spoon of dry cough syrup, and then the other day took 2 time dose of wet cough syrup. Now, he has dry cough. **What to do now? ***did the wet cough became dry cough? *What happens when wet cough turns dry?

    your father should consult his doctor before taking anything. The main thing is does he have a fever, does he have any shortness of breath? Or any other symptoms? If the cough persists, the doctor should be informed to be on the safe side.
