So there is big news on how omeprazole causes heart decease but I do not see anywhere that states what omeprazole does to the heart itself that causes the heart decease. All I read is that it causes heart decease. Also if one stops taking omeprazole that reverse that specific heart decease that it caused in the first place? Let us know please.

I had not heard that before, but after looking it up, it shows up a 2017 news. I am not surprised. All PPi drugs basically stop the digestion process so a person is starving with a full stomach. The food is not processed, just moved along, few nutrients are utilized. It damages every part of the body. Including the heart and brain. If a person stops taking it there with be acid revenge, so it is best to slowly over 2 months to take less and less every day, SLOWLY. Use standard antacids to deal with the burning. Low acid olive oil and liquid vitamin E can help. Try to go vegetarian during this time. You can eat boiled eggs or protein powder for protein. The body can heal and recover if enough nutrition is supplied. I recommend juicing vegetables, or making lots of veggie smoothies. Eat organic yogurt everyday.Incline your bed 8 inches.
