Omeprazole Side Effects? Light headed? Anxiety Attacks

My Mother was experiencing severe pain across her ribs and back which the doctors say is indigestion but only now and again. She was put on Omeprazole about a month ago and after taking one in the morning she starts to feel light headed, dizzy and generally unwell. She then seems to panic about it and feels she cant breathe which makes her panic more. Her chest and heart are perfectly fine. She stopped taking the tablets yesterday in case they are causing these problems and she is having tests done next week to check for ulcers etc. Has anyone else had these problems? How long do the side effects take to go away when you have stopped taking them?

hi sue im not a health care provider not a professional . however i do study a lot due to these horrible anxiety attacks i was not really aware of where these symptoms were coming from. i know a lot of women have anemia already and some males . however please do your self a favor go get labs done for your mineral and vitamin levels. i dont go to the hospital much. but i did hour and hours of research believe it or not omeprazole kills your iron levels who knows what else . but iron and many other things control your Neurotransmitters . im feeling a lot better hope this helps . please let me know if this helped. i figured i would share because the anxiety attacks constantly made me think and feel if i was dying. prayers and blessings
