Still trying to wean. Off Omprezalole but now on zantac and still getting crappy pain especially when stomach empty.

    I just had visit with my gastro Dr. He told me that he is going to wean me off Prilosec after almost 4 yrs. As I was going through a bout of diverticulitis he hasn't started it yet. I tried myself and had horrible heartburn. I do have GERD so I will need something.

    I'm off it almost 5 weeks after being on and off it for 6 months and its been nothing but hell still sick every morning and bloated after eating large meals..
