Sarcoidosis Necrosis

i have just been told I have this at the top of my spine one week ago. I have been on Prenisone IV for 3 treatments and 110 ML tabs per day for the next 4 weeks. The Lung doctor has told me zero except not to miss that 4 week appointment. Is this usual? The only question he asked was if i had kids. I said, no. I was told this is genetic condition from another doctor. Any one else have this type?

Oh forgot to mention while I was on the Acthar Gel (similar to prednisone less side effects) it cleared up a scar I had on my leg from sliding into base during softball.  It was large and ugly ...looked like bad burn its been there for like 5 years and I didn't wear shorts because of it....one day I looked and it was barely there...like a normal scar. barely noticeable.  We assume the tissue had sarcoid in it...but there of course was no confirmation since it was gone but that was pretty amazing how well that prednisone and Acthar Gel work....we weren't even  concerned with it and its gone...they dont think I have Sarcoid of the skin but they said sometimes Sarcoid can affect scar tissue and make it too much.  Wish I had before and after pics sad

UPDATE  I  had an Emergency MRI June 16th. Although, I have Sarcoidosis still in my lungs and lymph nodes. I had negative results for Sarcoidosis Necrosis However, now my doctor wants to do surgery on my neck. This seems worrisome. Dina46599
