Shoulder pain

hi i recently started with pain in my top arm my gp put me forward to see there physotherapist they have at there surgery. she diagnosed it being a problem with my rhomboid connected to the shoulder blade and not frozen shoulder . i am in terrible pain with it and getting cramp like feeling near the armpit . im waiting on a hospital app at the moment . i was wondering if anyone else as been or going through this and how long did it take to get refferred . i am having problems with raising my arm and cannot put my arm behind my back so im in a sorriful state as you can imagine

    sorry about your pain. Some people have luck with an Osteopathic doctor. You may not have an Osteopath, where you live. Good luck

      hi, try to get to a neurologist, they have the knowledge to deal with your issues. ask the neurologist to give you a nerve conduction test this will indicate where your pain originates and will give you a chance to find solutions. you will need to be assertive and fight for your health. remember drs take an oath to take care of your health issues and they are obliged to accomodate your requests!
