Stomach Covid?

Hey all,

The other night I went to the ER because my stomach was expanded to the max! (still is). I was also burping up heart burn type stuff which would make me throw up from time to time. I have diarrhea and I completely lost my appetite.

So, the ER tested me for Covid and also thought I may have a stomach ulcer or something but they were not sure. About 12 hours later I get the call saying that I have covid.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? I can't find much concrete info online and it would be nice if someone has been through this.

    covid can affect the gastrointestinal system although it’s not as common. I know people that have had a loss of appetite and also upper abdominal pain or diarrhea.so those are the symptoms that you also have. covid affects people in different ways. Take care of yourself, stay hydrated and get better!

    I have had same i must of caught covid again in september ive loss of appetite more like loss of hunger and thirst cues also my bowel habits changed still not right to this day i started off all of a sudden having perfuse sweating slight temp and being forgetful brain fog and when i do get appointments for the doc i just get phone call appointments be nice if someone is or has had same experience so i know im not alone in this as i also had covid in novermber of last year and still to this day dont have my sense of smell back to normal everything smells like a weird chemical smell
