Does anyone else taking proton pump inhibitors eg. Lansoprazole omeprazole etc.,have had to frequently have stomach polyps removed , apparently acommon thing among long term users.

I've heard people reporting such thing. Maybe 10% of them developed such thing. How long have you been on PPIs. I'm now maybe 3 years on them total and haven't developed any stomach polyp by now from them...

Wow, that's a lot, what is your condition if I may ask? Were you on them daily? Did you have any major sides from them apart from stomach polyps which some people do report? What dosage?
