Stop ppi, stomach burns!!

Anyone has resolved stomach burning issue during the period reducing ppi dosage? Any other medication that can replace ppi to reduce acid from eroding the stomach lining while reducing ppi? Hope can get help from here as doctors are not helping, been taken 3months ppi of 80mg omeprazole daily and acid rebound once stop n led to stomach lining wounded for a Yr, with no other choice, take back ppi for 3 months till now never totally healed so have start reducing dosage but burning worsen, terribly in dellimma, to stop or continue with it, it's like never ending, life ruined by PPI!!!!

Traditional chinese medicine easily healed reflux so I suggest anyone having reflux should just see a tcm and issue solve readily instead of ppi that worsen reflux which I experienced.

    How s your stomach lining so far? since my stomach has been intolerant to certain foods and get chest/back discomfort, I use esomeprazole on as needed basis, means just use it for 3, 4, 5 days then just withdraw cold turkey coz I feel better then and I've been doing this occasionally for a year or so now, but lately I'm confused I took about 5 days esomeprazole, stopped, symptoms came back after 3 days, so I took again and stomach still feels burning till now, must have used it the wrong way. So, thinking esomeprazole might have caused my tummy ache and not the acid, so I decided to stop again. I know this sounds crazy so I'm trying to figure things out. I was prescribed this esomeprazole to be taken when I got the symptoms.

    I just started a new discussion on similar subject. I have been taking PPI for around 3 weeks and my stomach burning stopped completely. I did a cold turkey and after 3 days stomach burning is back. I am not sure weather to take PPI again or wait for few more days and give time for the acid rebound stabalize..Let me know how it is going for you.

    i stopped taking Esomeprozole 40mg four weeks ago cold turkey and i feel awful with stomach pain and acidity i have been told this is rebound but from the things ive read it is supposed to last about 2 weeks but 4 weeks on i am still suffering does anyone feel the same as me because im atthe end of my tether i dont want to have to go back on them but lifes so miserable ,I wish i had never taken these awful things
