Struggling with reflux

I have a weak les muscle and therefore regularly suffer reflux. Over past few months I've had to take 2 x 30mg lansoprazole every day and still getting symptoms. My doctor does not like giving out a high dosage and says if i cant cut down to one then ill be sent to specialist to talk about having an operation. Now I'm nervous! Help, how do I cut down to 1

you could try taking a zanta instead if one of your PPI meds and take Gaviscon before bed time

i have had an endoscopy about 6 months ago. i suffer badly with stress and anxiety which i believe has caused this current flare up.

i dont drink alcohol, smoke and only have 1 coffee a day. i have crackers with peanut butter for lunch everyday and have meals such as pasta pesto and McCartney sausage for tea. i eat this at 5 o clock.

i am a 5ft ll male and weight 12.5 stone. i am also vegetarian.

If anybody has meal plans i can follow, i will follow them.

Does everybody else find that stress/anger make the symptoms worse and it takes weeks to get rid of them?
