Tomorrow is the HRCT scan

I have had declining health issues for several years and the doctor believes that IPF maybe the cause. I'm in Florida my breathing has become labored (on oxygen part time) and I have episodes of waking up gasping for air and it's very scary. I also underwent Rituxan chemotherapy for kidney disease several years ago and I've read there maybe a connection? You are all brave people and I wish you well.

    I should have added that I was hospitalized with Pneumonia and the flu and I can't stop coughing and wheezing for over 5 months. Has anyone had experience with the Rituxan? Thank you.

    Sorry to hear of your health issues.

    I have never heardof any connection between chemotherapy and IPF.  Your CT Scan will give you and your medical advisor a clearer picture of what is going on.
