Unexplained pain.... 8 years later.... Need help identifying it.

I have a pain in my right side.... Feels like it is about the size of a grapefruit located in my right side of my waist.... It occurs after I've been lying down for sometime... Normally in bed..... The pain is dull but extremely uncomfortable. It forces me to adjust my position but most of the time I cannot get back to sleep until I've gotten up and remained upright for about an hour. This then forces me to try and sleep sitting upright. It seems to be worse when I am needing a pee and if I have been lying for ages... When I do sit up or get up I can then feel a throbbing sensation, like the pain is caused by pressure and then something is being released. I've had the pain for 8 years and just delay with it as it wasn't all the time. But it has now been constant and persistent for the past year and I have never had a full night sleep. I have to constantly move around to get rid of the pain or get up to urinate. I have also started to urinate extremely frequently. I seem to go at least 5 times more that anyone else. It's frequent and also urgent. Any ideas? I have had scans in the past, vaginally swabs, blood tests, camera in my urethra..... But no one can tell me what's up.

    Hi Lioness

I would suggest going to your doc to request more scans and tests...perhaps something will show up this time if there us a swelling......best wishes.....

There's medicine they can give you to help with the frequent urges to go. That can solve that problem but it doesn't solve your pain problem. Have you been to a urologist or has the tests only been done by a GP? How old are you? Has anyone done at sonogram on that area?

I would try and find a good Uro/Gynecologist. This sounds serious if you have a lump that big. Could be something pressing on your bladder. Good luck. Do not put off seeing a doctor,
