Waiting for JAK2 but terribly dizzy today

Well still waiting for the JAK2 result, however has anyone experienced terrible dizziness, with blood pressure and head ache, it's more my heads heavy and when I move quickly or put my head down I could fall over I've felt terrible like this now for two days, unless it's anxiety of waiting. X

    Hello julia.  I would advise you to see your doctor asap about your symptoms.  There is no reason to tolerate such symptoms they sound wore than just signs of anxiety.

    Others will post soon with more advice I'm sure.

    I agree with the reply, seek medical help. I get the dizzys sometimes and get treated for vertigo.

    I also tend to get zigzags floating visuals sometimes and been told its migran, but the headache I get with it is a heavy feeling on to of my head.

    Back then when visiting the DR I was not dignosed with PV so don't know if its related.

    Sorry not much help.

    Hope your results come out good.

    You can live a pretty normal life with this, just have to keep up with blodtesting, venesection or tablets.

    HI Julia. I as well had several dizzy spells Now what causes it I don't know. It is however a symptom of Polycythemia. My Docter here in Canada said its oxygen related due to thick blood that is related to Polycythemia. Red blood cells provide oxygen and with this blood disorder it is one if tge symptoms. Since I have been put on blood thinners I do not experience this anymore. Each person is different. I has a lot of itching in my upper feet and back. Not now. You need to talk to your Hemotologist about this.,keep us posted. We are here for you. From Canada to you ????

    Hi Julia, I just got diagnosed about one month ago , If you have Pv, you will start feeling a bit better with treatment. Best of luck.

      What symptoms did you have Suzanne? This dizziness is the worsed! Think my blood pressure is up and down due to anxiety. I hope your doing okay? Do u live in the UK? What tests did u have? Jxx

    Thank you to everyone who was concerned, been to the doctors and my blood pressure is fine today strangely, which is a relief, think I'm getting a bit anxious. She did say that usually high blood pressure doesn't course dizziness only low blood pressure?? But it's okay today so pleased about that, can't say that though for my dizziness and head ache, hopefully that will be fine tomorrow. I hope everyone else is doing okay and thank you for your concerns and support x

      Hi Julia,i Have had a lot of dizziness, Now I know how to address this other than just vertigo.
