Efficacy and Safety of Alpha1-Proteinase Inhibitor (Human), Modified Process (Alpha-1 MP) in Subjects With Pulmonary Emphysema Due to Alpha1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (AATD)

This study is looking into a new way to treat lung damage (emphysema) caused by a rare condition called Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (AATD). It compares two different doses of a medicine (Alpha-1 MP) to a dummy treatment over three years to see if it helps protect the lungs.
