Extended Prone Positioning for Intubated ARDS

This study is looking at whether keeping intensive care patients with severe breathing problems (ARDS) in a 'tummy-down' position for longer periods (40 hours) helps them recover better than shorter periods (16 hours). We want to see if longer periods can save more lives.
