International Alfapump Cohort Study
This study is following people in the UK who have received a special pump called an alfapump. It’s for those with serious liver conditions or a type of cancer that causes fluid build-up. The study helps doctors see how the alfapump works in everyday life.

Alfapump® System in the Treatment of Refractory or Recurrent Ascites (POSEIDON Study)
The POSEIDON study is testing a device called the Alfapump for people in the UK with stubborn fluid build-up (ascites) caused by liver disease. It aims to see if the pump can help manage this condition and reduce the need for frequent fluid drainage.
