The RECOVERY trial looks at treatments for serious lung infections like pneumonia, including COVID-19. It helps doctors find the best ways to help hospitalised patients get better and reduce their risk of dying. Many treatments have been tested, and some have been found to be very helpful.

ASCEND: A Study of Cardiovascular Events iN Diabetes
The ASCEND study looked at whether daily aspirin or omega-3 tablets could prevent serious heart problems and strokes in people with diabetes who hadn't had them before. It found aspirin helped but also increased bleeding. Omega-3s didn't make a difference.

Aspirin in Preventing Disease Recurrence in Patients With Barrett Esophagus After Successful Elimination by Radiofrequency Ablation
This study looks at whether a daily low-dose aspirin can stop Barrett's oesophagus from coming back after successful treatment. We're also checking how safe aspirin is and tracking specific body markers that might show if the condition is returning.

Clopidogrel vs. Aspirin for Cardiovascular Risk Reduction in Patients With S. Aureus Bacteremia
