Cholesterol lowering with atorvastatine for the prevention of gallstones following bariatric surgery (CHOLSTONE): an investigator- blinded randomised controlled trial
This study looks at whether a common cholesterol-lowering medicine called atorvastatin can help prevent gallstones in people who have had weight-loss surgery. Researchers will check for gallstones using ultrasound six months after surgery to see if the medicine makes a difference.

A Study of Bempedoic Acid in Combination With Ezetimibe and Either Rosuvastatin or Atorvastatin in Patients With Primary Hypercholesterolemia or Mixed Dyslipidemia
This study looks at how well a combination of three medicines – bempedoic acid, ezetimibe, and either rosuvastatin or atorvastatin – works together to lower 'bad' cholesterol (LDL-C) in people with high cholesterol. It also checks for any side effects in real-life medical care.
