Evaluation of the Elasticity of the Mitral Valve

This study looks at how elastic heart valve tissues are in living people with mitral valve disease. Currently, we only have information from animals or frozen samples. Doctors want to understand these tissues better to help improve treatments for different types of mitral valve problems.
