Double blind, multicenter, randomized, controlled trial of dexmedetomidine vs placebo in premature neonates receiving invasive ventilation

This study is looking at a new medicine called dexmedetomidine for premature babies who need help breathing. It aims to see if this medicine can reduce the amount of strong pain relief (opioids) these tiny babies need while still keeping them comfortable.
