Each participating care home will be randomised into one of the following trial arms: Oral Nutritional Supplement (ONS) clinical trials

REFRESH study: nutRition intervEntions For malnouRished oldEr adultS in care Homes - A parallel, superiority, three-arm cluster randomised controlled trial

The REFRESH study looks at ways to help older people in care homes who aren't getting enough nutrients. It compares special food, drink supplements, and usual care to see which works best to improve health and quality of life.
