Effects of Continued Administration of Empagliflozin in Patients With Heart Failure on Active SGLT2 Inhibitor Treatment Admitted for Acute Decompensated Heart Failure

This study looks at whether continuing a heart failure drug called empagliflozin (Jardiance) is safe and helpful for people already taking it who are admitted to hospital with sudden worsening heart failure. It compares continuing the drug to stopping it during their hospital stay.
