The Effect of a Six Week Intensified Pharmacological Treatment for Bipolar Depression Compared to Treatment as Usual in Subjects Who Had a First-time Treatment Failure on Their First-line Treatment.
This study looks at how new treatments for bipolar depression, like different medications, compare to usual care. It's for people whose first treatment for bipolar depression didn't quite work. The aim is to find better ways to help people whose mood swings include significant depression.

Optimized Predictive Treatment In Medications for Unipolar Major Depression (OPTIMUM-D)
This study, OPTIMUM-D, looks at whether we can better predict which depression treatment works best for you. It uses information like brain scans and other body markers to help decide if a common antidepressant, escitalopram, works better with or without brexpiprazole, another medication for depression.

Escitalopram for Agitation in Alzheimer's Disease
This study looks at whether a medicine called escitalopram can help with agitation in people with Alzheimer's disease. Some people will get the medicine, others a dummy pill, after a talking therapy didn't help. We want to see if it's safe and effective.

Pharmacokinetics and Safety of Commonly Used Drugs in Lactating Women and Breastfed Infants
This study looks at how medicines mothers take get into breast milk and affect their babies. We need breastfeeding mums taking common drugs to help us learn more about drug levels in milk and babies, to ensure safer choices for mums and their infants.
