Fever Control Using External Cooling in Mechanically Ventilated Patients With Septic Shock

This study looks at the best way to manage fever in very sick patients with septic shock who are on breathing machines. We're comparing letting the fever run its course versus using cooling methods to bring the body temperature down to normal. The main goal is to see which approach helps more people survive.
