Intravenous lidocaine administration clinical trials

Evaluation of the Benefit of Lidocaine on the Prevention of the Risk of Post Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-pancreatography Pancreatitis.

This study looks at whether adding a medicine called lidocaine during surgery can help prevent a common problem called pancreatitis after a stomach procedure called ERCP. Half the patients will get lidocaine, and half won't, to see if it makes a difference.
