Left Atrial Appendage Closure in Patients With Non-valvular Atrial Fibrillation and End-stage Chronic KIDNEY Disease
This study looks at a procedure to close a part of the heart called the left atrial appendage for people with an irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation) and severe kidney disease. It compares this procedure to standard care to see if it can prevent strokes.

Avoiding Anticoagulation After IntraCerebral Haemorrhage
This study looks at the best way for people with a history of bleeding in the brain and an irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation) to prevent future strokes. It compares an anti-clotting drug (Apixaban), a heart procedure (left atrial appendage closure), and usual care.
