Lung transplantation after standard ice cooler donor lung preservation clinical trials

10°C vs 4°C Lung Preservation RCT

This study is testing if keeping donor lungs at 10°C instead of the usual 4°C (on ice) before a lung transplant can reduce problems. The aim is to make lung transplants safer and more successful, allowing more flexibility for surgeons and patients.
