A Phase IIb, Monocentric, Non-Profit, Open-label Trial for the Intrathecal Administration of AAV9/AP4M1 for Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia Type 50 (SPG50)
This study is looking into a new treatment called Melpida for a rare genetic condition called SPG50, which affects movement. It aims to see if Melpida can help improve how people with SPG50 move by tracking their walking and other physical abilities over time.

Administration of MELPIDA to Determine the Safety and Efficacy for Patients With Spastic Paraplegia Type 50
This study is looking at a new treatment called MELPIDA for a rare genetic condition causing muscle stiffness and weakness, called Spastic Paraplegia Type 50 (SPG50). It's the first time this treatment is being tried in humans, focusing on its safety and whether it helps people with SPG50.
