A multicenter, register-based, randomized, controlled trial comparing dapagliflozin with metformin treatment in early stage type 2 diabetes patients by assessing mortality and macro- and microvascular complications
This study compares two common diabetes medicines, dapagliflozin and metformin, for people recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. We want to see how these medicines affect serious health problems like heart attacks, strokes, kidney issues, and overall health over time.

J2A-MC-GZGV: A Phase 3, Randomized, Open-Label Study to Investigate the Efficacy and Safety of Once Daily Oral Orforglipron Compared with Dapagliflozin in Adult Participants with Type 2 Diabetes and Inadequate Glycemic Control with Metformin (ACHIEVE-2)
This study looks at a new drug, orforglipron, for people with type 2 diabetes whose blood sugar isn't well controlled with metformin. It compares orforglipron with an existing drug, dapagliflozin, to see how well they lower blood sugar and if they're safe.
