This study compares a new knee implant, the Episealer, to a standard knee surgery called microfracture. It's for people aged 30-70 with pain from knee cartilage damage, aiming to see which works best for pain and movement.

NOVOCART®3D for Treatment of Articular Cartilage of the Knee
This study compares two ways to fix knee cartilage damage: a new gel treatment called NOVOCART 3D and a standard surgery called microfracture. It aims to see which is better at reducing pain and improving knee movement, and if they are safe.
