Functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy in Adult Surgery

This study looks at using a new, safe brain scanner during heart surgery. It aims to see if this scanner, called fNIRS, can help doctors see which parts of the brain might be at risk of injury during the operation, helping to protect patients' brains.
