Efficacy and tolerance of nicotinamide supplementation during acute kidney injury: a prospective randomized double-blind trial

This study is testing if a vitamin called nicotinamide can help people with sudden kidney problems (acute kidney injury) recover better. Researchers will give some patients nicotinamide and others a dummy pill to see if it improves their kidney function after 21 days.
