Prophylactic nimodipine treatment for hearing preservation after vestibular schwannoma surgery: a randomized multi-center phase III trial (AkNiPro2)

This study is testing if a drug called nimodipine can help protect hearing after surgery for a non-cancerous growth near the brain called a vestibular schwannoma (also known as an acoustic neuroma). Researchers want to see if the drug can stop hearing from getting worse after the operation.
