Pioglitazone Placebo, Pamapimod Placebo clinical trials

A 4-week double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, phase II study evaluating the effects of oral pamapimod 150 mg with pioglitazone 10 mg daily on COVID-19 evolution and recovery in non-hospitalized patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus-2)

This study looks at how two medicines, pamapimod and pioglitazone, might help people with COVID-19 who don't need to be in hospital. It aims to see if they can help people get better faster and reduce their symptoms. Participants will take one of the study medicines or a dummy pill for 4 weeks.
