EASi-PROTKT™ - A Study to Test Vicadrostat (BI 690517) Taken Together With Empagliflozin in People With Type 2 Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, and Cardiovascular Disease
This study looks at a new medicine, vicadrostat, for people with type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease. It aims to see if taking vicadrostat alongside empagliflozin can help reduce heart problems. Half the participants will get the study medicine, and half will get a dummy pill.

A Study in Healthy People to Test How Vicadrostat Affects the Heart
This study is looking at how a new medicine, Vicadrostat, affects the heart in healthy adults. Researchers will compare Vicadrostat to a dummy medicine (placebo) to see if there are any differences. Moxifloxacin, another medicine, will also be used in some people.
