Placebo of N-acetylcysteine clinical trials

PROlonged Corticosteroid Treatment or N-ACetylcysteine for Severe Alcoholic Hepatitis

This study looks at new ways to treat severe alcoholic hepatitis. We are testing if a longer course of a common steroid (prednisolone) or adding another medicine called N-acetylcysteine can improve outcomes and reduce liver damage.
