Comparison of the Risk of Surgical Site Infections Between Dressings Stopped at Postoperative Day 1 vs Dressings Stopped at Postoperative Day 6+/-1 After Elective Abdominal Surgery

This study compares how long surgical dressings are kept on after tummy surgery. We're looking at whether taking them off after one day or keeping them on for about six days affects the risk of wound infections. It aims to make future care better for patients.
